$2800 for stage custom, geesh guess he got taken! The original stage set of drums was Yamaha entry kit back in the 80's. The Stage Custom even though not the entry level, $2800 seems awful high.

Low end is not synomous with punch. If you want a big fat low end sound a larger bass will do it. If you want punch but a higher bass sound the smaller will do. Keep in mind everything is relative to...
