Thinking about picking up this SONOR "PERFORMER" drum kit as a practice kit (1987-1990) Germany made its in really nice shape.for $ 200 is this a pretty good kit ?

Some say tune the bottom loser ,some say the opposite and other say tune the same
What I do for my toms are bottom tighter/ higher pitch then the top heads.
I try to get the top as low as possible...

What exactly is the problem there are some basic rules for tuning but it really comes down to what sounds good to you.
