I must say that the opening fill to "Paradigm Shift" with Dream Theater is extremely creative and well played.

Even if he isn't my favourite drummer, he can still put up a few good fills.

Well, actually, I am only exaggerating this understatement, Portnoy knows how to play and I respect him for that. But even though, who needs three or four bassdrums?

I think it is quite descriptive, he has not specific signature style, no feeling in his playing and now that Nirvana exists no more, he nourishes himself on the former reputation as their drummer and...

Damn, can't you have an opinion without getting mangled, if he doesn't like Dave Grohls drumming, let him do that.

I don't like him either. Personally, I think that he is a lame drummer.

Listen to Cryptopsys latest release: "Once Was Not" and I think that it will surprise you how good his coordination and memory is. Flourent has nearly celestial abilities when it comes to do fills.
