Sonor D454 14x5.3/4 (14x5.75) PERFECT all -round snare as it's:NOT too narrow not too deep.I've played 5" 5.5" 6" 6.5" 8" &find the above to be the MOST versatile as you tune it up high or tune it...

Well this thread to me personally at least is now irrevelant/redundant as I've been made redundant by the band 3/4 of the way to rehearsal by way of phone call from "guitarist/singer" who ALWAYS sung...

INOX MX3 -300g can NON -TOXIC &DOESN'T run like CRC or WD40! :), i also use low strength Loctite thread lock to stop the rods from loosening ,
You CAN use medium strength Loctite BUT NEVER use high...

Toms are 12" rack&suspended "floor tom" ,
Yeah band can hear toms as i tune the 12 high&14 low (LPBW)& there Sleishman so free floating so WILL cut thru more then convential drums! :)

They're the best sounding drums on the galaxy/planet EASY to tune best EVERYTHING about them :resonance sustain volume clarity NO OVERTONES just the cleanest purest notes&pitch.

you'll NEVER get the same sound from conventional drums compared to "free floating" drums (i.e. NOTHING touches the shells to interfere with the resonance sustain...
