for getting demo's down I don't have a problem using a low end roland td4 so I certainly wouldn't mind at all.

Totally agree, perfect shows are once in a blue moon. Having said that, imperfect shows can also be worth celebrating, i remember playing a gig with a band as a guitarist, the drummer was celebrating...

To be fair, the example photo is probably the worst finish available.
Having visited the site and looked at the saturn IV kits with other finishes, the logo doesn't sit too badly on some of them....

ha ha, yeah, well, the devil makes works for idle hands!!
On those recording the tambo ia actually the only organic percussion sound we have. for the sake of the neighbours the demo's are recorded...

We always have real difficulty describing our genre. I guess it's Indie rock/pop. I play a 20x24.
