A cymbal or anything else for that matter is only 'worth' what somebody is prepared to pay for it from a selling point of view especially pre-owned.
I would't be surprised if it's still for sale...

Although we have mentioned Oaks being good for rock - Matt Cameron, Mike Bordin off the top of my head.....They are also a favorite of Billy Cobham who has played them for years and Akira Jimbo...

I had a Mapex Orion before the Oaks which was a great kit, Mapex make a great kit in some lovely finishes too.
The Yamaha ticks all the boxes for my taste and requirements and the sound still blows...

There are no 'rules' as such just personal preference. Buy quality cymbals of your choice, whatever you like the sound of, they will go with your kit.
