Re: Should I buy this HipGig Kit?

Hi Trick,
Little late for the party but I had the Al Foster hip gig, they are cool kits but to be honest, that bass drum being 23" deep took up too much floor space. Also not the lightest kit in...

Re: Yamaha Stage Custom Birch

I know what you mean about the 6 lugs on the 18" bop kit. I had some concerns, however after putting on a PS3 and Evans pad the drum tuned up pretty easy and a nice punch for a small drum. Less lugs...

What to do?

So I have been playing oak customs and live customs and love both kits, always wanted the maple hybrid so I sold the live oaks and traded in a tour custom to fund the hybrid kit. Beautiful red...

Re: What killed off Slingerland?

Sad because they made some nice drums. I bought the Avante kit back in 1971. Used it until 1984 and it collected dust and pretty beat up. It was originally a chrome finish. Had the kit (3 pieces...

snare throw

Anyone know what type of throw this might be? I measured the screws there are two horizontal that seems to be 1" apart, then another screw 2" centered above the bottom 2.

If that makes any sense?
