Re: New Sonor PROLITE Series

Aren't the Saturns 5.1mm? The current Delites are 4mm with reinforcement rings. Even the Delites from 10 or so years ago had 4.2 mm shells.

Re: Your thoughts on Intermediate Kits

There is nothing wrong with their mounting system. It's just not what some people prefer; you get that with every drum company. Some people like Pearl's tom arms; some can't stand them. It's no...

Re: Your thoughts on Intermediate Kits

Can't speak for the Meridians but I have the 3007s and they are great drums for the money. All the hardware is solid too..no problems at all after 4+ years of nearly everyday use. Solid drums, you...

Re: I'm just gonna throw this out there...Pearl Drums are the BEST!

I think Pearl make great drums, I have 3 snares, but those tom arms are hideous. They remind me of a hair dryer.

My understanding was that Sonor has the same machinery they would use in Germany at the Mapex factory and has trained staff, not neccessarily Mapex staff, to build the drums the same way they would...
