I play several other instruments besides drums and sometimes when i play drums i get some sort of creative blocking and i find that playing bass or piano i get inspired for drumming (and viceversa)....

Platinum is better quality than X7 which is the one i own, incredible drum set but still platinum is better, but i also suggest you to get a DW maybe a 4pc would fit your style.

Maybe it can also be about the style of drumming you play, there are people who have a lot of fun playing a lot of different things like progressive and others who love to stay with a simple pattern....
