it's just linear sextuplets

transcribe it .... you will learn much more than you would if someone transcribed it for you

and you will be glad you did

and even if you don't transcribe it...

you will definitely get more response from any given surface with a 5B or SD1 than a 7A

and I find the more a stick responds .... off a cymbal ... head... pad... whatever... the easier it is to...

Max was an innovator indeed and did change the way the music was approached a bit

but he did not kick the doors open and have cats fearing for their own careers the way Tony and Jimi did

very nice

I use a very similar RLRRLK quite a bit ... basically a paradiddle-diddle with the last L substituted with a bass drum

gets some similar mileage

nice lesson .... enjoyed it very...

totally agree

once the tune is counted off the time is released into the room and if someone behind an instrument cannot hop aboard and ride that wave I have zero desire to create music with them

for me personally it is a tempo thing and a vibe thing

for a more traditional blues or a straight up standard I find that most of the time I am feathering without even thinking about it .......

yeah ... they absolutely feel different under different hoops

a 302 and triple flange have a softer feel than a cast .... like a bit more of a gooey give .... and I tune pretty high

not sure...

you decide by which one sounds , feels and looks best to you in your price range

and if you are that torn throw the heads you intend to use on the floor model .... generally drum shops do not...
