The mar on the drum is minimal. I'm sure a touch up job will restore it. The rim is replaceable. I'm over it.

I felt the same way. I love the RHCP, but they interrupted a KILLER performance by Bruno Mars. Made no sense. Plus, the Peppers were playing to tracks. Ridiculous.
