I had this problem until I set my pedals properly (thanks to the folks on this forum). make sure the beaters are extended enough (more than half way) and start with the spring tension at medium.

scrub it with apple cider vinegar. it may stink up the drum for a bit and stain it for good, but killing mold makes me happy.

be sure to get acv with mother of vinegar and shake the bottle

damn..luckily ive heard that if you catch tendonitis early that rest will help clear out the fluid ans let the tendon sheath calm down. try taking some omega 3-6 supplements as well for natural...

unfortunately my pedals will float at 45 degrees when the beaters at numerous heights. i have them set a bit above center right now, and it feels nice

hmm you guys got me thinking after talking about thinking of the beater like a stick. i have mine really low, but im going to try and balance it first, and then go from there like this guys suggests....
