Very true, once Wal-mart gets it it is all downhill from there.

Unless DW starts making a budget line of drums I don't think that they'll be selling them there due to the investment cost and so forth. Pacific is a maybe, but it will all just depend on the price...

What personally use for my studio is a full shure beta 52a based dmk that you can get at streamline audio video for about 359.00 and have pssl beat that price. It would give you on kick mic one snare...
