As a former Trentonian, I am very partial to Trentons own Richie Cole and got to see him in small clubs like Lanzis Lounge and Joes Mill Hill...I feel blessed. ;) I just found this on Youtube and...

And regarding the definition of "Bop"...I feel this is a very hard musical genre to describe in words...try to explain it to a non-Jazz friend without using musical examples so that he understands...

In total agreement. The early 60's stuff just total blew my mind, and I wasn't a drummer when I first heard this stuff but Tony's playing totally caught my attention... and the cymbal work!...Whoa! ...
