I have 2 floor toms with differant dimensions.. I also have them tilted toward me.. But not exactly the same.. It was a struggle to get them exactly were I wanted them in height and tilt..To much...

Sticks.. Sure you can have both.. You think the big drum companys pay what we do for a head. If I were say Evens or Remo i w ould give the drum companies the heads at cost. Or even free just to get...

You bet it has.. Hardware for sure.. And I noticed, the middle money kits arounf 800,, for a 5 pc shell pack,,, let say,,, sound better then ever. Just be sure to put good heads on them..

The Catalinas are sweet. But the heads have a lot to be desired. The snare batter is the worst.
The newer version comes with Evans heads.. Maybe thats a plus..

Just another question. I can play a rim shot off my left hand and get a hell of a triplet bounce. I can hardly hear the rim...It really sounds great.

With my right hand I get like a big rim sound...

Thanks guys. I allways thought the hi end was the snare. Now I see the brush itself gives it that sound. Very interesting both ways. I got my work cut out for me. I am new, but I just love the bursh....
