Yea you're right, but some people don't play it as straight as others. Some keep the triplet in their pattern so you still hear the difference in the "ga" and "lang" of the pattern. But, thats WAAAY...

I think the slow to fast is great because your technique becomes consistent. You can watch it all the way up until you're at your ideal tempo.
