I agree with this,just like the x shells VH something shells DW makes.it's still cross lamination something Sonor did decades ago.

True pitch rods,true hoops and true tone snare wires are fairly new,probably just a marketing thing.A 97 DW pre collectors or collectors(only one series at that time) don't have these features which...

go to snare is the bronze supraphonic,but the sound of copper,well im liking it more and more.its all i need for now,i guess....maybe.....who knows

see if he could take the price down a bit, i paid 2,000.00 for 10,12,14,16,18,22 dw collectors 2001(cherry to black fade black chrome hardware). good luck

May I ask what drumheads do you use for the copper snare,I just snag a Tama...
