That is a point to consider. My last kit had a 22x20 bass and I had no problems going through doorways. I guess it depends on what kind of vehicle the OP drives.

I would recommend getting the Dixson Bass Drum Lift. Its only 40 dollars and it will work with what you are trying to do.
