Re: Help, is my snare drum normal??

Hmmm... I don't think I was that clear above...

Re: Help, is my snare drum normal??

Is that bad, the bead weld protruding?

Also, can you deform the bearing edge of a metal shelled snare drum by putting on a head (snare side head) slightly off center and then tightening it (with...

Re: Travis Barker

AMEN beatsmcgee, Travis cannot help his fame, and he is a good, creative and inspiring drummer (in my opinion) with or without it - it is just because he is famous that I have heard of him. I'm sure...

Re: Drumming punk/emo

Hehe, 'sum 41''s 'all filler no killer'. 2nd track has an intro in 7/4, 0:40 into the 12th track there is a passage featuring alternating bars of 4/4 and 6/4.

And dude, you don't want to even...

Re: Travis Barker

Yeah, I agree, this is a rare slip up by Travis, and the whole song is a pathetic attempt at a ballad. Blink are better when they're more energetic. As for where Travis will go next, he's in plus...

Re: Brann Dailor

The great thing about Dailor is that when he plays, the fills are like grooves, and the grooves are like fills. There is a seamless transition, which, as finns said, makes his playing sound more...

Re: THE GOOD SNARE THREAD

What is the point of buying a good snare? Doesn't it sometimes get to you that there is so much you will never be able to do in drumming...for example, play at the speed of light with one finger, or...
