Re: Are you a Groove Player or a Technical Player?

I feel it's more about playing what the music requires. Whatever a drummer plays, has to be in the pocket. It seems the sometimes the association is that being technical means overplaying. Sometimes...

Re: Fed up lugging around large kit to gigs - advice?

I switched from a 22" bass drum to an 18", but still it's a pain in the ass to transport. Still, it sounds pretty good. Sometimes if you know how to tweak stuff you might be surprised with the sound...

Re: Berklee Audition Piece DRUMS

Yes, it does, the snare drum part is really easy. They are more interested in your potential and your musical aptitudes, than how well you read.

Re: Berklee Audition Piece DRUMS

Hi connor,

It's really cool, to hear that you are auditioning to Berklee. I'm a Berklee graduate myself.
My advice would be to prepare a song that best represents what you are as a player. It...

Re: Using others' kits, and others using yours

Re: Drum Video Do's and Dont's

Re: Drum Video Do's and Dont's
