Re: Dennis Chambers

Dennis Chambers i incredible. Just saw him with Santana not too long ago. He had a ridiculous solo where he was essentially doing a winding-down roll exercise on the snare drum until he couldn't get...

I love Steve Jordan. Got to see him play live at Crossroads. He's incredible. I love his 17" hi-hats. Totally ridiculous, but they sound amazing. I also recommend watching Herbie Hancock:...

Re: Vinnie Colaiuta

I absolutely love Vinnie. Definitely one of my favorite drummers of all time. His sense of time and groove is superb. And I love his philosophy on music and drumming which he briefly described in a...

Re: Danny Carey

Danny Carey is definatley one of my favorite drummers. He does really cool work the crazy time signatures that Too uses (like in Lateralus) and Schism is probably one of my favorite drum tracks....

Re: Chad Smith

I think Chad Smith is great drummer. Lots of cool grooves and no real weaknesses. He doesn't shine like some drummers, but he's got style. I love his groove in Aeroplane. Lots of nice feathered...

Re: Keith Moon

I'm personally a huge fan of Keith Moon. Maybe he wasn't the most organized drummer, but he had such attitude behind the set. Definately a huge fan of him.
