Re: LM402 Lust

I didn't know you were jolly ol' England, mate. I've heard that Luddy prices are pretty close to the stratosphere over there.

As far as what version, Get what ever one you can find. That being...

Re: I may have been doing it wrong all this time..

I concur with Jim's diagnosis. Those last three fingers are there to "help" control your stick, not to "completely" control you stick.

Re: LM402 Lust

Check Ebay often! I found my LM400 Supra there last year at this time and got a majorly screaming deal on it.

Lust is good. Drum lust is better!!

Re: "Oh no - Not another new bearing edge!"

As I'm sure it is for many of you (except the super-orgasmic Larry), this is the first time I've heard Andy speak - I knew that he could, I've just never heard him. I must say that this was a...

Re: tom mounts on cymbal stands

Make sure the legs on the cymbal stand are open all the way (as wide as you can get). This will make the stand as stable as possible.

Better yet, buy a kit that has the tom mount attached to the...

Re: What is your drum setup pet peeve?

My pet peeve? How 'bout the saw dust remnants of once complete drum sticks below my hi-hats. And speaking of hi-hats, I really don't like hats that sit at shoulder level - too high - especially...

Re: Successful Songs in Set?

Good question. I'd like to know this stuff better, too.

I always tend to think of a band as being a human jukebox. You have to play the stuff people know, appreciate, and want to dance to. If...

Re: Old School Drumming

I'm sure it was a compliment. They were probably surprised that you could do more than a single stroke roll at 20 BPM.

They just see somebody over 40 and immediately think "old school."

To me,...

I don't blame Doug, he just misunderstood... we're cool.

I totally get and appreciate Dre's irreverence - it's not strictly an Aussie trait, mate. It's just at times, Dre throws a quick...

Re: Get off your drummer's throne and

Do you have any "In Real Life" friends, because you sound like the dick here.

BTW, I don't want to piss you off too much, so congrats on whatever you recently purchased.

Re: Annoying store experience.

What a shame. Local shops should be patronized, the world needs them and it'll be our loss if they all go away. In my opinion, the guy "working" the counter doesn't seem too concerned about being...
