Re: Getting the motivation to play drums again....Need advice on where to start

Re: Getting the motivation to play drums again....Need advice on where to start

Hey all,

Well I've had my drums for almost 4 years now and if there's one thing that stopped me from being consistent with my playing it was the fear of doing something and not getting better at...

Re: struggling with double bounce...

My back fingers always fly off the stick when practicing doubles, perhaps that's why my doubles are extremely slow?(I can only go up to about 110bpm) How do you get you back fingers involved? Do I...

Re: I need a real judgment on how I play ... ( And advices )

Been drumming for 3 years(a year self taught like you) and my doubles/paradidles are nowhere near that speed and accuracy. I'm damn envious right now.

Re: How do I find groups to jam with??

I think my main problem is that I assume everyone is way above my skill level to even consider trying to ask them anything about jamming. I go to yorku (in toronto) where they have a huge fine arts...

How do I find groups to jam with??

I've been playing drums off and on for the past 3 years and the one thing that I think impedes my ability to get better is being able to play with other musicians. Problem is my skills as a drummer...

Re: why there are so many travis barker haters???

I don't think all the haters "hate" him so much as they hate his blind legion of fans. Most of his fans that say he's the greatest drummer ever don't even know of other drummers besides him, they...
