I haven't tried it yet, but according to Carter Beauford(dave matthews band)it gives you more grip hence your muscles aren't very tence therefor you can play faster,etc. I guess ill give it a shot...

Alright, so here's the deal: i have an upcoming show in an audotorium. It can hold about 500 people so its still quite large, tall cealing and the harmonics of the room arent great but i dont believe...

Theyve rehearsed so many times and they know each other so well that they usually dont need to count anything off, a simple stare or bodymovement can indecate to the band memebers when to start.

I despise when people muffle the drums so much with tape that they almost sound like cardboard, it pretty much tells you that they cant tune properly.
