Nice solid drumming and some great fills - actually the whole band sounds very tight - I love what the horns add to the over all sound.

It is hard to tell from the pictures. They are old drums for sure. If you search on the web for Radio Kings you'll see the special Radio King throw-off snare strainer Slingerland developed.

I'd have a very hard time drilling holes in any shell. What I've done to reduce the amount of stands is I got a couple of HD Tama boom cymbal stands and using various DW clamps I have two cymbals...

When you're talking about snare ring an important part of it is you gotta be able to get out in front of the band stand to hear what the drum...

IMHO you might want to practice control before speed. You'll get the strokes you need when you're actually doing the stroke and not hitting the pedal with a twitch. I've always thought of bass...
