Good Funk/Jazz DVDs for begginners

Im not a begginner at drums but I want to learn Funk and Jazz.

No I am not Dan hill. But he is a drum teacher in my area and Im thinking about getting one (mainly because I want to learn Jazz). And I just want another opinion about his skills.

Know any good Latin drum examples (that I can get on cd)?

I think its about time I start learning how to play latin styles so I was wondering if any of you could name a few albums I could get with great drum examples. I pretty much have gotten the basics...

I might switch to Traditional grip. Any advice?

My left hand with matched grip isnt doing very well (I think its becuase im self taught and I traind it wrong without relizing it). But my right hand seems to be fine. So what should I do to get it...
