When I took lessons back in the "50's" my teacher taught out of three books, Chapin,Stick Control and Haskall Hare(spl) most of learning was just playing along to my LP's(rember those)

you might check out, Dupuytren's Contracture, on google, I'm not saying you have this but it's something you might keep your eye on. I have it and it doesn't bother my playing.

My favorite, saw him at the club Blackhawk ( San Francisco) with Ray Draper. Booker Little don't remember the bass player, a kick ass group. Tried to copy his playing, got just alittle bit.
