I own both an s-Classix and a Delite, wich are the same shells as the Prolites, and I like the s-classix more....too bad they dont produce them anylonger....

I owned a Maple custom kit, and currently have a Delite .

I never regret selling my MC, but i will never sell my Delites.

Go for the Delites, or S Classix,

I used to own a Yamaha Recording custom, the toms were ok, but the bassdrum was very poor sounding.
I sold the kit, no regrets.

Now i own an S-classix, there the best i ever played, the toms...

I own a MC, fine drums for sure, but this one looks like a pre-yess one.
Also i think the 10 and 12 tom are the same depth.

I think 2300 is too much for this kit.

If you really want to hear the full potention of these wonderfull drums, hear the soul of those shells speak....put nothing but single ply heads on those drums.

Never played a Reference kit, but i own two s-classix kits, and untill now i never heard or played a better sounding kit than the s classix, but that my opinion.

Good choice!!!! Sonors are really great!

Benny Greb plays a SQ in Vintage beech.

I would go for
20x16 bass
12x9 tom
14x14 floortom.

what finish you gonna choose.

Hi,

i am lucky to own both a Delite and a S-Classix.
Both are top sounding kits, thin shelled.

I owned a DW collectors, but since i played a high end sonor, i sold the DW.

If i would have...
