Stick Control, Stick Control, and Stick Control.

Syncopation By Ted Reed is also good.

Re: Did You Know??

Brilliant, never really heard a bass trio before. Marcus Miller is another great bassist, he plays some outstanding bass on Amandla.

Re: Need help identifying a note/pattern

I've forgotten what it's called, (I'll post again if I remember), but I have seen it before. It is played like a drag but with the one extra note, with the paradiddle sticking. However it will be...

Re: Did You Know??

That would be Stanley Clark, the last hint gave it away pretty easily. I'm a fan of his playing on the RTF albums, what is the new album he put out with two other bassists you mentioned?

Re: Did You Know??

I actually wasn't thinking of airto, forget he played on their first couple albums. That would make 4 then, the last one being Gerry Brown who played on the bands final studio album before splitting...

It can be set to a tension and will click when you get to that. Is it as accurate...

Re: best way to capture live audio and video!!!

This product is very common and popular and works well. Downside is limited space with the base SD card. If you can compromise some sound and/or video quality you will have much more space, but on...

Re: Did You Know??

I'm not remembering any names, but I know he got in a fight with another member (the singer I believe) which got him fired and shortly broke up the band.

Re: Suggestions for mid level kits

Seems like a good deal to me, like new 6 piece with quality heads and a bass pedal.

That would run you up over $1000 new. As long as it's really in like new condition (you should examine before...

Re: 42 vs 30 vs 20 Strand Snare Wires

Hey if you're happy with the sound, keep it, but let me just say something.

KIS is right on the money, to get the best snare sound possible, you really have to bring out the tone of the snare. The...

Re: Yes it can be done! (Steve Gadd video)

Agreed.

It's amazing to see what he does with those drum, most drummers could not handle such a flat sound but Gadd makes it musical and groovy.

Re: New Cajon - Kopf Percussion

The playing surface is 1/8th of an inch.

Not sure what you mean by split corners, or snap for that matter. If you're asking about the adjustability of the front plate, it can still be adjusted on...
