Re: STICK CONTROL (george L stone) your experiences and suggestions

Well I definetly study/understand the freestroke and rebound. After I posted I kind of looked at it and went "duh". Should have just deleted the question.

Re: STICK CONTROL (george L stone) your experiences and suggestions

I think you misunderstood the question. I understand the stick heights stay 2-3" if you're not playing the cresendo. By 'up' position I didn't mean all the way up as if you were doing 2-50 for the...

Re: STICK CONTROL (george L stone) your experiences and suggestions

Re: Carter Beauford

I love Carter Beauford, but it seems that when ever he solo's he ALWAYS falls back on the four stroke roll, i.e. RLRL on the snare then RLRL on the tom (i guess it'd be LRLR for him though!) or some...

Re: Brian Blade

Oh man Brian Blade... what a monster. His playing on elastic is crazy, but I like him even more on Chris Potter's Gratitude. Also, not only is he an amazing drummer, he's an amazing composer/writer...

Re: THE BIG KITS VS SMALL KITS DEBATE

This entire argument got started by inferring that one type of set is inherently more musical than another; but... what is "musical"? When Dogbreath says that a big kit is more musical than a small...
