Re: Mick Fleetwood

Totally agree with this. I saw one cover that wasn't very good as the guy is playing over the original track so you can't tell exactly what he's playing. Anyway, he was definitely using left foot to...

I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction with this Mick Fleetwood based question...

I've been trying to get my head around the tom part on 'You Make Loving Fun' but cannot figure out...

I have a Roland TD9 and want to record some backing tracks from it onto a friend's Boss Micro BR. Has anyone had any experience of doing something similar?

Re: Practice Pads

Thanks for the reply

Practice Pads

Hi

I've just started doing what I would consider to be 'proper' drum lessons. I have been playing for a while and have taken some tuition studying basic rock beats and so on. But now I have...

Re: Stick Grip Issue

Ah yes, I get the Karate thing. Did 5 years of it in my twenties.

Pretty much what i've been doing - plenty of repetition. Saw something somewhere that said don't practice when you play. It was...

Re: Stick Grip Issue

A pad might be very useful to me then. But yes, finding the way around the kit also needs a lot of work. Maybe being to hard on myself. My teacher hasn't really pulled me up on it so probably just...

Re: Stick Grip Issue

Thankyou for your reply. 'Elliptical' - that's the word I was looking for :-D

I hear what you are saying. But think the reason it bothers me so much is that I get the sticks hitting each other...
