A lot of the people frequenting the PDF don't own Pearl. I doubt the guy would go to the trouble of ordering and then sending it back on his dime if he didn't have problems with the kit. The price...

The Premier Artist Heritage Club kit gets very good reviews too.

There is a a Gokit and a couple Premiers on Ebay right now for good prices.
