You could dampen even more, or you could tune your batter looser, and a hole in you in your resonant would be a very good idea too, that way the air will escape faster so you'll have less slap back.

Ok I guess every time I saw a number it was the same 777-931beat... I had seen it so many times. I'm pretty embarrased now.

Hi,

I was wondering what terms like a '777-9311' mean. I often see a beat represented by some sort of number. I once heard a song and the singer started like: 1 2 1 2 and then the drums played...

It the exact same thing but it's easier for your brains or something.
