Bronze has muted highs, powerful mid-range & low end. Warm and responsive.

Brass has as you know has open highs, mids and lows. Musically warm and vibrant.

Hi Tommy. What brand are your sleeved washers? I have measurements of the sleeve of the Hendrix Sleeved Washers. The O.D. is 0.2415 in, or 6.13mm. The I.D. is 0.2150 in, or 5.46mm.

Yes these washers work as advertised (eliminates metal on metal contact from tension rods to hoop) as for smoother and accurate tuning yes, because IMO the washer sleeve centers the tension rod...
