As mentioned before, the opening acts are just warm ups for the headliners. That's the name on the bill that is drawing the crowds. When a headlining act doesn't want knobs touched, its for a reason...

No, but my wife calls me a nerd all of the time..... Perhaps its the other 5 drum kits or the 25 snares.. or maybe its just me.

I won't drill. But spending $150 on atlas mounts is more than I want to spend, especially when I can make the RIMS cradles for $50 each and have them chromed.

I make a lot of stuff for myself because I'm usually too broke to afford it otherwise.

Although I have made RIMS mounts because they quit making the sizes I needed. I am about to make 2 more...
