Since I bought the kit used Ludwig will not replace it. The person I talked to from Ludwig actually just told me to google Ludwig Vistalite Repair. So I ended up finding RCI Starlite International....

Here is a 4 pc. maple classic for under a grand! you could sell the snare for a couple hundred easily if you didnt want it making your cost less than 800 for an awesome kit.

dude you can find a used top of the line set of classic maples or vistalites for 7-800 bucks if you just take your time and search. piecing together a kit one by one is also quite simple and cost...

Are these the 70's kits? I'd bet they are. Seems like any 40 year old kit is susceptible to an issue. I've seen just as many 21st century kits with issues as I have 70's vistalites. The re-issues...
