Its just personal preference really dude. I mean, i know some dudes look down on drummers who dont play trad but i dont. Whichever works for you is what you should use IMO.

I think this all really boils to are you a drummer or are you a percussionist. A percussionist will probably need to know how to read the notation, whereas someone playing drum set in a rock band may...

Yeah i agree there, more power to him, no disrespect to Phil or AC/DC, im just saying Phil, PLAY SOMETHING ELSE. I know you do play what the songs need but some more fills or different patterns...

Traditional Grip owns Matched Grip any day of the week, in my opinion. Great power and finesse. I just feel like i have so much more finesse also when i play trad, not to mention the great...
