Totally love my new Mapex Saturn MH Granite Sparkle kit (12,14,16,22 ), they tune up well ...and record great !! lots of compliments on sound and looks ;-)

I don't really care how fast someone can play a crapadiddle.....
My benchmark is how well they can lock into a groove, play with feeling, creativity and dynamics.......IMHO ;-)...

I made some with foam and plywood. Google bass traps, lots of cool ideas out there. They do work and you can make your own way cheaper and even design for you specific room.

Right now I have a 12'' tom and a 16'' floor tom, which addition do you think would be the best, add a 10'' or another floor? I can't decide. Do you guys with 2 down use both floor toms a lot?
