Re: Help me to identify the age of this Ludwig LM400!

Thanks for all replys! I tried to find similar snare from eBay but without success. How much could I get from this snare in this condition? Here in Europe/Finland prices are a little bit higher.

I took this...

Re: Mike Portnoy

Great review! I don't mind at all if Mike is talking about his other projects because they fascinate me a lot. He is one of my biggest influences for god sake! I think he is the one who got me deeply...

Unfortunatelly sold this snare about one month ago! I replaced it with Tama Starclassic Limited Edition 13x6 G-Maple snare w/ Mappa Burl satin finish.

Premier Artist Maple (British made)

What do you think about Premier Artist Maple drum sets? This particular set has been made in England, not in Taiwan so it's something like 12 years old or so.

I couldn't find any threads about...

I was going to make at first two octobans but then I noticed that I'm not able to craft them with those tools I had available. But yeah I really learned how to make...

Re: Selfmade 6'' x 7'' Stave Tom-tom

Yeah the hoops are kinda high because I didn't make insets for them. It would be pretty easy to craft insets so I could do them later.

Yamahas are very good and well built. As I told before I own Yamaha Tour Customs and they are nice drums to play! I just don't like that unvirgin bassdrum.

For your budget you would be able to buy...

Re: Tama or Mapex? Thoughts?

For a while ago I played with 2 toms and a floortom. Now I play only with one tom and floortom. I think those two provide me enough to be able to play ANY kind of music I want, from fusion to...
