Simplificate.

Take the groove to its basics. When you can play a simplified version comfortably it's time to start adding the complexity back in.

The Shures come with a number of different rubbery bits (olives?), in different sizes and textures of material. I was able to find a less isolating one amongs the several supplied which lets me hear...
