Re: Help with middle fill in Whole Lotta Love

I'll see if it actually counts the measures of the violin bow solo that precedes the fill. It may just have a generic break/rest measure with no real direction on how many measures the solo is. ...

Re: Playing over the bar line.

One exercise I find useful to become familiar with the feel of playing over the bar line is to play 5 stroke rolls in 16th note phrasing. Play to a click. Start the roll with the accent on the 1and...

Re: 2015 Guru Snare Competition Entry Details - ENDS SOON!

Do you have Windows Movie Maker? That's how I put mine together. I have a Zoom recorder also so it should be compatible.

Re: Ok, you were right - it is a bit tricky :)

Re: Ok, you were right - it is a bit tricky :)

I wish you wouldn't have said that because now it won't seem original but this is what I've been doing for the chorus (playing in half time). ;) The chorus was one part I felt comfortable with once...

Re: Ok, you were right - it is a bit tricky :)

Re: Linear "Bonham" Triplets poll and discussion

I guess what I mean is that it's one of the more famous half-time shuffles. Wasn't saying that all half time shuffles are referred to as the Rosanna. And yes, the bass drum pattern sets it apart...
