In the future I would love to endorse in a company (as almost every drummer wishes) but the question that keeps coming in my head is that do I have to be a drumming god?

I know you shouldn't judge drums for what brand they are but only by how they sound...but go with mapex since they are growing now and I have seen a lot of drummers...

Eric Kretz ( one of my favorite drummers ) endorses them, he's the drummer for the stone temple pilots, listen to them and you can get an idea that they sound pretty good.

Well always when I play my toms, it never feels right, my sticks just slide right on off, not giving the toms a good hit. not literally, but thats what it feels like.

My toms are tuned well...out...

It needs to be at least somewhat close in pitch, but not perfect. It can't be like a deep deep thud near one lug and a high pitched one on the other.

So no really they don't need to be perfect.

try a remo coated ambassador on top (equivalent to an evans g1 coated) and a remo clear ambassador for reso (equivalent to a clear g1).

Personally I hate pinstripes. never will like them...ever....

just keep it, you never know it could be worth something, you don't want to risk selling it for a low price.
