What i did was, tighten my pedals tension spring pretty tight, not so tight it hurts to get a good kick out of, but something tighter than what i was normally used to, got used to playing at that...

Is there any particular bass head that works great with them? im using an evans emad and i dont think that a you could place a trigger on it because of the dampening ring, maybe im mistaken?

Well ive been working with piezo's for about 3 years no, i got a lot of them laying around as well, and electronics are a pretty easy fix usually. But i was just skeptical about the ddrum trigger...

Yes he may be a decent drummer but to be nominated for an honor such as this, he just doesn't make the cut. There are a million of slipknot fans in the world, i don't much like there style of playing...

I just put one of those heads on an old steel snare i had, sounded pretty well to me, but i also have a built in dampener with that snare as well to help a bit.

1.Yea being patient is something ill have to do, i looked on ebay, craigslist, etc for one and got nothing but a finish i dont like.
