Re: Ludwig 3-ply kits--white resocoat vs. clear maple interiors

Well, the only noticeable thing is the hoop. Everything else is pretty darn minor. Not using a clear head on the huge floor tom will fix that. But yes, I see your vision of showing off those clear...

Re: The coolset drumkit in the world, please add pictures/video

Your post doesn't look like a pic of a drum set for this thread. Just a single opinion about my post.

For me it's this awesome Trixon Silver Croc kit I saw. It's the definition of coolness.

Re: Bop Kits in general

My 18" bass kills on this kit. It's a Groove percussion kit.
18" bass,10 & 12" toms,14 and 16" floor toms. I've added the 16" floor tom and a 14" X 6.5" snare. Have the matching 13" X 3" snare that...

Re: My Vintage Werco Kit

Thanks for the replies, the key pouch had a socket style key for the tom mount. The snare doesn't have the original strainer but one that works.

Re: My Vintage Werco Kit

Thanks everyone for the welcome, The snare looked like 3 ply maybe 5? I lightly sanded it and put a coat of Tung Oil on it's interior. No re-rings. I've never removed the heads on the toms yet to see...
