the best thing ive found is playing on a pillow with a towel overtop, ZERO rebound so you really have to exaggerate your technique, after a movie- length session, playing...

haha yeah it is a bit unique for sure, but i kinda dig it too :)

i just wrapped the whole shell and then punched holes through the material afterwards. worked fine..
