Re: More creative drumming with a cape on?

Good point, Grea. I guess if the cape doesn't work for me, I will be forever relegated to a life of drumming mediocrity and probably wind up married to a cheese hostess someday.

Re: NFL Asks Musicians for Money to Play Super Bowl Read more: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/ne

I'm getting really tired of professional sports in general. This is just another glaring example of why I shouldn't waste my time watching this crap.

Re: The side snare

At practice I use a 4" thin 14" cheapo side snare with the snares off. I only use it in one song, and I use it more like a high tympani drum rather than a snare. It's a reggae type song. I don't...

Re: Drummers are the smartest musicians

Yes, but I also firmly believe that an average band can be made great by adding a very talented drummer, and I think it takes an intelligent person to develop that kind of drumming skill that can...

Re: Professional responsibility

I think Professional responsibility is the main reason why I don't teach. Although I feel like I can be a good teacher because I teach AutoCad pretty well, and I am a very patient person. I've never...

I don't fancy myself a scholar of intellect, just found the article interesting and maybe thread worthy. I have to disagree with you about natural rhythms, or the elemental beat of the world. The...

Re: Stripping - drums & fills.

That's a fun song to play. I really liked your flam fills. Phil Collins did alot of those too, which is probably why I like flam fills.

You play more stadium rock type songs in a big production...

The irony here is that the leaves rarely get smoked, they are mostly used to create the butter to make the baked goods.

Re: Drummerworld Dictionary

Eating fresh mangos or even drinking a fresh mango smoothie 1 hour prior to medicating will dramatically increase the euphoric feelings felt by THC, and it will help ease your pain of getting moded...
