Hey,

Never been a huge fan of them if im honest! With Moongel you can move it around making sure you get the right 'spot' with O'rings you just place it on and thats it, sometimes doesn't do the trick :/

Try what DrumDemon has posted. For a quick fix, you could try muffling the snare itself with some moongel or if your okay with it, tape.
