I have for many years worked with sound guys having my kick drum mic to the red... but the past 8 years I have been using triggers on my kick. I trigger my kick, and a 10inch tom which is mounted...

I get a magazine here called Rhythm from the UK... it comes with a CD on the cover each month of drumless backing tracks for various rock classics.

I saw Blackwell's clinic in Sydney last week.. and I was gobsmacked.... he is an awesome drummer, his delivery was sensational, and a very funny clinican.. some of the things he did.. I was left...
