Online drum shops for Canadians?

Title says it all.

I'm looking for big names that ship within Canada. Why? I don't like paying $100 for each cymbal or piece of drum hardware that I order, just to cross the border.

I'm...

Re: Legs hurts after constant double bass drumming?

Ahh hey guys.

Sorry It's been like 3 weeks, my bad. I've been over loaded with work.

I've been messing around with my pedals, drum setup's, and I still can't find it. I want to bring by bass...

Re: Legs hurts after constant double bass drumming?

Alright. I've come down with a cold so I'll see if I can record it. It may be sloppy but I'll play with my same technique.

Haha I wish 32's. But thanks for the tips I'll try them out. Are...

Re: Legs hurts after constant double bass drumming?

I would say around 110bpm. I can go 120 but I lose consistency after about 20 seconds.

Re: Legs hurts after constant double bass drumming?

Well see, the double isn't that fast. It's just the long double kick that I can't keep going on.

I'd be greatly appreciative if you showed me some exercises, though.

Thanks.

Legs hurts after constant double bass drumming?

Alright.

On my kit, I have a true, double kick drum setup, each drum with a Speed Cobra. The beater is about 5 inches from the batter, and the pedals are pretty sensitive. I've been doing a lot...

How to tune a drum?

This may sound silly, but hear me out.

I bought some Remo Pinstripe heads, so I was going to replace the batters on the kit. My kit has always been a pain in the ass to tune, and now I'm just...

Re: Why do I feel I can drum better on other drum kits?

Well, I guess I shouldn't say I can't adjust it. I can. My friend is about, 6' 4", and I'm around 5' 11". His kit is pretty high, but I can go faster on my toms than he can his, but I can go faster...

Why do I feel I can drum better on other drum kits?

Title says it all, and it's been bothering me.

Right now, I have 6 toms and 2 bass drums (Mapex M kit) with single speed cobras. Now, My friend has some Pearl Custom kit (4 toms, 1 kick) with...

Re: Jimmy "The Reverend" Sullivan

This deserves a huge 'bump'.

Good songs to make a beat to?

I need some better skills, and I don't have a band currently, so I was thinking about finding some songs that have absolutely no drum tracks in the back, just like bass, guitar, etc. If you don't get...

Re: Any One Own The Black Panther Deep Forest Walnut-14 x 6.5?

I bought an Evans snare head (10 bucks), and it has a plastic ring on the bottom of it. After I added that, I duct taped the top head of the skin with 4 pieces of tape, about equal size and make a...

Re: HiHat stand placement with double bass?

I sit higher, and the more the legs are folded out, the higher it stands. (backwards, I know).

HiHat stand placement with double bass?

My HiHat stand is pretty far away from my left bass drum (right handed player), so I keep hitting my left hand the the knuckle or in that area. Here's some pictures.

Re: Upset over Concert.

I know, but I wouldn't consider it a solo. Damage Inc. intro is all bass too, believe it or not.

Re: Upset over Concert.

Talent show in grade 9. (2006?)

Rhythm Guitarists dad turned him up, so I couldn't hear the lead, or myself. I was playing bass at the time, since it is my main instrument. Second is drums.

Re: Snare Throw off?

None, excluding the ones that actually mount it into the drum itself.

Yeah, I will. I don't want to even try to fix it if I don't know what I'm doing. But hey, you know more than I do.
