I could imagine them being like using thicker sticks for stick control, but I wouldn't do it. just stretch and practice good technique without worring about your actual muscle strength

Hey,

If you're willing to dish out 100 something dollars on a dw drum lift, it works great. There's no drilling whatsoever and it barely comes in contact with the shell. You just adjust the legs...

Yeah, use it however you want. It's just a tool to ingrain a sense of time

are you talking about those fancy metronomes that accent the downbeat or putting the metronome to 2 and 4?

I did the same thing about a week ago and I got good results after a while. Seat the heads and then put 1 felt strip on each side with a patch on the batter side.Then test different...

Feel, Dynamics, and basic Chops

I think you can do the most basic rythms and fills and make it sound amazing with a good feel. The dynamics make it interesting.

i had straps earlier and it loosens slowlier with cables
the arm still resists when i pull it up

ima try some other adjustments, but what is that other remedy you're thinking of?

Strainer Problem

Hey,

my snare strainer comes loose after like 10 mins of playing. i've checked the cables and they aren't slipping or anything so what should i do?
